March 2010 - The restoration of a Manet

Edouard Manet's painting Chez le père Lathuille from 1879 recently underwent conservation-restoration treatment at IRPA/KIK. The impressionist masterpiece is part of the collection of the Musée des Beaux-Arts of Tournai. It will shortly be flown to Japan for the exhibition Manet and Modern Paris at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum in Tokyo (from April 5 until July 31 2010).
