01|03|2018 Open days at the KIK-IRPA

On Thursday 1 March 2018 we invite you for a glimpse behind the screens of the study and restoration of artworks.

Each of our documentation units, restoration studios and laboratories will open its doors: our specialists will explain their work and share their passion with you!

Some of the prestigious works currently under restoration at the KIK-IRPA: The Mad Meg by Pieter Bruegel the Elder (Museum Mayer van den Bergh, Antwerp), Rubens' Self-portrait (Rubenshuis, Antwerp), an altarpiece from the chapel of the counts of Boussu, an 18th-century Brussels wall tapestry (St Saviour's Cathedral, Bruges)..

We hope to welcome you on Thursday 1 March 2018, 10-17h. Groupes are asked to confirm their hour of arrivel (info@kikirpa.be).
