Novembre 2008 - Nouvelle publication: Séminaire de Tournai
Ce nouvel ouvrage explore les richesses du Séminaire de Tournai : son histoire, ses bâtiments et jardins et, surtout, une description de ses collections sous la forme d'un catalogue raisonné. Plusieurs chercheurs de l'IRPA ont collaboré à sa rédaction et la couverture photographique de l'ouvrage a été pour l'essentiel assurée par l'Institut.
Novembre 2008 - La Bible d'Anjou en ligne de mire
L'examen scientifique et le traitement de conservation de la Bible d'Anjou se poursuit. Ce manuscrit du XIVe siècle, aux enluminures particulièrement riches, est au centre d'un important projet auquel collaborent l'Illuminare, Studiecentrum voor Miniatuurkunst (K.U.Leuven), la faculté de théologie de ladite université et l'IRPA. Ce projet est financé par le Fonds InBev-Baillet Latour. Une newsletter détaille l'avancement du travail.
November 28, 2008 - Study day Energieprestaties en monumentale constructies
IRPA’s laboratories department is organizing a study day on November 28, 2008: Energieprestaties en monumentale constructies. The program for this day, organized in partnership with VIOE and WTCB, is complementary to the one organized by the city of Gand on November 6. All communications will be in Dutch and no interpretation will be available.
From October 30 to November 2, 2008 - AR&PA : 6th art and heritage restoration fair
Since 1998, Valladolid (Spain) has hosted the AR&PA fair organized by the Castile and Leon Government and held every two years. This year, IRPA is taking part, for the first time, in this great event in line with a collaboration protocol signed on May 6, 2008 with the Culture and Tourism Department of the Regional Government of Castile and Leon.
October 24, 2008 - The 9th seminar on Art History
The 9th seminar on Art history will be held on October 24, 2008 and will be organized by IRPA’s Documentation department: Renaissance Engraving in the Netherlands.
From October 17 to October 19, 2008 - The 23rd AFAV meetings
From Ennion to Val Saint-Lambert: blown-molded glass. International conference held in Namur and Brussels from October 17 to October 19, 2008.
At the same time, an exhibition will be held in Namur (Espace Archéologique Saint-Pierre) from September 26, 2008 to January 16, 2009: A bout de souffle. Le verre soufflé-moulé, des origines au Val Saint-Lambert.
Parallèlement au colloque international organisé en octobre 2008, une exposition est organisée à Namur (Espace archéologique Saint-Pierre) par la Direction de l'Archéologie. Un parcours riche de nombreuses pièces exceptionnelles qui dévoile la technique du verre soufflé-moulé et retrace l'évolution de l'art verrier depuis l'époque romaine jusqu'à aujourd'hui en soulignant le rôle d'ateliers de production wallons.
