Symposium Giusto di Gand Reconsidered
On the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the Communion of the Apostles (Urbino, Palazzo Ducale), scholars from all over the world will convene in Rome and Urbino to reconsider the oeuvre attributed to its enigmatic Flemish painter, recorded as Giusto di Gand in Urbino.
8th International Architectural Finishes Research Conference
From May 29 through 1 June 2024, the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE) will host the Architectural Finishes Research Conference in Amsterdam. They do so in collaboration with renowned partners on this subject in the Low Countries: the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA), SRAL ‒ The Conservation Institute, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and University of Amsterdam (UvA).
Summer Course for the Study of the Arts in Flanders 2024 – Medieval and Renaissance Sculpture
Annually, the Summer Course brings a select group of 18 highly qualified young researchers to Flanders. They are offered an intensive 11-day programme of lectures, discussions, and visits related to a specific art historical period of Flemish art. The 8th edition of the Summer Course will focus on ‘Medieval and Renaissance Sculpture’. It will be held from 23 June until 3 July 2024.
