Set in the majestic surroundings of Cinquantenaire Park, four institutions, including the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA), come together to form the heritage heart of Brussels: a place where you can truly experience the power of culture and heritage.

Structural cooperation
The four institutions in the Cinquantenaire Park share the ambition of further developing the park as a leading cultural, scientific and tourist cluster in Belgium and beyond. Together, the four organisations represent an exceptional concentration of internationally renowned expertise, collections and know-how. They welcome 500,000 visitors every year and have significant potential for growth, both in terms of audience reach and international visibility.
In 2026, the directors of the institutions signed a declaration of intent to strengthen their cooperation on a structural basis. Each organisation retains its own identity and autonomy, while committing to creating greater synergies and increasing their social impact.

Autoworld Museum Brussels
Autoworld is located in the impressive South Hall of the Cinquantenaire Park and has been taking visitors on a fascinating journey through the history of the automobile for 40 years.
With an extensive collection of more than 300 vehicles, visitors can discover the evolution of the automobile in chronological order, from the very first motor cars to contemporary icons. Various thematic areas, including Sport & Competition, Design Story and the rich history of the Belgian automobile industry, bring the story of the automobile to life in a surprising and interactive way.
More than a Museum. Autoworld is much more than a permanent collection. Throughout the year, the museum organises temporary exhibitions on a wide range of themes, complemented by events, Cars & Coffee gatherings, activities for children during school holidays, lectures and many other experiences. As a result, every visit is different and there is always something new to discover.

Royal Museums of Art and History
The Royal Museums of Art and History (RMAH) comprise the Musical Instruments Museum (MIM), the Halle Gate Museum and the Art & History Museum. It is the latter that you will find in the Cinquantenaire Park. The museum is one of Belgium’s largest museums dedicated to civilisations and world heritage. It houses rich collections spanning from prehistory to modern times and covering Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
The Art & History Museum stands out for its departments devoted to antiquity, decorative arts, Islamic art and non-European civilisations. In this way, it offers a broad perspective on human history through objects, works of art and craftsmanship. As a true place of discovery and knowledge-sharing, the Art & History Museum also organises temporary exhibitions and educational activities, using an accessible approach for a broad audience, all within an iconic architectural setting in Brussels.
Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History
The Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History (known as the Royal Military Museum – part of the War Heritage Institute) explores the military history of Belgium and Europe, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Its extensive collections feature weapons, uniforms, military vehicles, aircraft, flags and emblematic historical objects.
The museum offers an immersive journey through major conflicts, technological developments and the role of armed forces throughout history. The impressive Aviation Hall, one of the richest of its kind in Europe, and the exhibitions dedicated to the two World Wars are among its absolute highlights.
The Royal Military Museum takes an accessible and educational approach, enabling visitors of all ages to gain a deeper understanding of the historical, human and technological dimensions of military history.
Museum Combiticket
The three museums are united under Museums In the Park. Together, they offer a Combiticket, available for €30, giving visitors access to all three museums at the beautiful Cinquantenaire Park site.
The ticket can be purchased at the reception desk of any of the three institutions: Autoworld Museum Brussels, the Art & History Museum and the Royal Military Museum (RMM).
The Combiticket is valid for three months, allowing you to spread your visits to the three institutions over time.
